Project Description

Design-Build project consisting of two 22-foot diameter twin bore subway tunnels. Each tunnel isÌý13,680Ìýlinear feetÌýwith 14 cross-passages.ÌýThe tunnels will be excavated utilizing a Herrenknecht Earth Pressure BalanceÌýTunnel Boring Machine with precast concrete segments as the final lining. Tutor Perini is also the Design-Build contractor for the Purple Line Extension Section 3 Stations project thatÌýwill add two additional stations at Wilshire/Westwood and on the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs property.
