Project Description

Relocation of Runway 7R/25L (11,095' x 200') at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), constructed 56 feet to the south to provide separation for the subsequent construction of a center taxiway.聽

The project consisted of聽a Portland cement concrete (PCC) runway and taxiway pavement, asphalt concrete (AC) shoulders, airfield lighting and signage, structural upgrades over the Sepulveda Tunnel, drainage and utility improvements, relocation/upgrade of HAVAI DS, and modifications at runway-taxiway intersections.
